It’s really that simple…

Epiphany Today, I had an epiphany, that most things in life are easy; as easy as just picking it up and that time morphs all stories, including us.

It’s a powerful lesson to me ‘coz in the past, I have stuck to the truth of the story, “as it was”, and consequently not moved on… Not realizing the power in the fresh energy of “moving on and along”.

Moving on and along brings us to new realizations and perspectives, thereby changing us fundamentally and with that changing our stories and future forever!!

How cool is that?? :)

Forgiveness

Forgive Sometimes we come to across situations in our lives where somebody either says or does something to us that we dislike or even hate. Of course, this puts the perpetrator on our “hate list”.

And then begins the agonising journey of blame, resentment, hurt, anger, spewing etc. etc. All done with the aim of letting the “hatee” know that he/ she is hated by us, the “hater”. The more vile we’re able to spew, the more satisfied we feel… or least it certainly seems that way.

The longer the drama drags on, the more justified we feel. Our feelings of hurt and misery seem that much more appropriate… Hrrrrummph, the #@%$!@…

Erm, how about forgiving them right away, and I mean the VERY NEXT second of the heinous crime being committed, ever considered that?

Forgive them?? Right away??? After the way they’ve made ME feel?? NO WAY!!!!!! They can SO rot in the pile of smouldering coals, FOREVER!!! And so goes on the emotional outrage…

I know you’re wondering if there’s a point to any of this AT ALL! Yes, there is a point. At least, I have my point of view.

You see, we’re all creators of our own experiences. The good, the bad, the interesting, the hilarious, the irritating, the joyous; the entire range of experiences that we have, are created TOTALLY by us. YES, WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THAT HAPPENS TO US AND AROUND US. By the virtue of our energy and vibrations we’re able to do this amazing magic around us!! (If you get this great, or else, it’s gonna be another post ;0))

And since this is how life works, then even that “unforgivable” “hateful” event was caused by us! Hence forgiving the poor “hatee” doesn’t even come into the picture!!! If anything we need to sympathize with them as they got sucked into our negative vibes.

So if anybody needs forgiveness, it is US. Forgiveness for creating this drama. And it is ABSOLUTELY essential that we forgive ourselves and clean our vibes or else we’ll jus keep attracting similar situations and events in our lives.

Ever since I’ve understood this, it’s just empowered me SO much. I am no longer at the mercy of others conduct and take them and myself off the hook by freeing them and forgiving myself and moving on… I created this, I can create it differently as well… ahhh… feels so liberating!

‘Coz interestingly enough, our basic nature as human beings is to love, appreciate, be grateful… all the yummy feelings… This is when we’re at ease… if not, we’re at dis-ease… Hence the maxim, “… to forgive is divine.”

Until next time, give this a shot…

“Do I forgive you? Of course, now what’s next?”

I’m NOT putting myself down!!!

Blowing Your Own Trumpet
I AM beautiful!!
I AM fabulous!!
I AM amaaaazing at so many things!!!
And so are ALL of the people I know and meet, then why do we run ourselves down? How do I become better if you run yourself down? And why should I feel inferior if you don’t?
All it really does in the long run is, undermine our own self-esteem and I doubt that does ANYBODY any good!
Maybe we need to learn to accept compliments gracefully and give compliments that we mean and then maybe this inherent mistrust of compliments will go away…

So this is how I am, going forward:
  • I am the BEST there is!!
  • I do look great!
  • I am slim and not fat!!! ;0)
  • I DO write well
  • I am very well read
  • I am a fantastic facilitator
And these are only some...

Yes! I’m SO GONNA BRAG… and I invite you to do the same… :)

I Create My Day

I watched “What The Bleep Do We Know?” today. And this dialogue by Dr. Joe Dispenza, moved me like not much in some time now. I hope you enjoy it too…
The most often referenced interview in the film is Dr. Joe Dispenza's comments on creating his day. In response to the numerous requests, the following is the transcript of that part of the interview.

"I wake up in the morning and I consciously create my day the way I want it to happen. Now sometimes, because my mind is examining all the things that I need to get done, it takes me a little bit to settle down and get to the point of where I'm actually intentionally creating my day. But here's the thing: When I create my day and out of nowhere little things happen that are so unexplainable, I know that they are the process or the result of my creation. And the more I do that, the more I build a neural net in my brain that I accept that that's possible. (This) gives me the power and the incentive to do it the next day.
"So if we're consciously designing our destiny, and if we're consciously from a spiritual standpoint throwing in with the idea that our thoughts can affect our reality or affect our life -- because reality equals life -- then I have this little pact that I have when I create my day. I say, 'I'm taking this time to create my day and I'm infecting the quantum field. Now if (it) is in fact the observer's watching me the whole time that I'm doing this and there is a spiritual aspect to myself, then show me a sign today that you paid attention to any one of these things that I created, and bring them in a way that I won't expect, so I'm as surprised at my ability to be able to experience these things. And make it so that I have no doubt that it's come from you,' and so I live my life, in a sense, all day long thinking about being a genius or thinking about being the glory and the power of God or thinking about being unconditional love.
"I'll use living as a genius, for example. And as I do that during parts of the day, I'll have thoughts that are so amazing, that cause a chill in my physical body, that have come from nowhere. But then I remember that that thought has an associated energy that's produced an effect in my physical body. Now that's a subjective experience, but the truth is is that I don't think that unless I was creating my day to have unlimited thought, that that thought would come."

Let's Bear In Mind...

All humans are united, no matter how great our differences, by our fear of looking dorky.

This revelation was deeply comforting. I felt new kinship with people from all times and places who ended up in their culture’s equivalent of brown socks at a sparkling black-tie event. I took a deep breath, watched a Zulu dancer furtively adjusting his impala-skin loincloth, and waddled out to join the rest of humanity in our common sea of appalling insecurity.

When In Doubt...

What is blogging protocol?? Just one post a day, or just as many as come to your mind? :)

Ah well, rules shmoolez...

I just wanted to record some good advice that I've received recently:

  • If it's not a HELL YES, then it's a HELL NO!!!
  • Immediately go to bed once you get mad.
  • It’s about the enjoyment. When we do what we enjoy, good things come.
  • I don’t actually believe in “wrong turns.”
  • Want It + Not Need It = Get It
  • "What's so great about this?"
Hmmm... that makes good sense...

Note to Self: Please come back and read these when in a quandary!!!

Fun...Integrity...Connection...Freedom

I recently had an experience which taught me that if I forget to live my life as guided by my core values, I get seriously misaligned.

When my choices, actions, words and thoughts are guided by my four favourite core values of Fun, Integrity, Connection and Freedom, I'm just floating smoothly through everything.

Okay, the value I've been seriously out of whack with is Integrity. I've been breaching it time and again for the last year and half.

Since the implications have dawned on me, I have been practicing it in everything. And almost miraculously, things have started to change...

People and circumstances that are not aligned with Integrity no longer come into my experience. It's true and kinda freaky...

I'm glad the realization's come with minimal damage and nothing that cannot be turned around. My focus hereon, is to make my four values the corner stone of my life.

It's such a relief to understand what drives my thoughts, words, actions and feelings...

Here's something I across on Jeannette's old blog today... what are the chances, eh?? ;)

Do you know your core values, Anonymous? You can connect with one of those in a pinch, too. It works MIRACLES!! Literal miracles.

Just set the intention to experience one of your core values through the interaction with family, and you'll be surprised how much better it goes. Just doing that little intention. (My favorite core values to intend to experience are connection, authenticity and nature.)

A Way With Kids...

A lot of us believe we have "a way with kids". But I wonder, is it that we have a way with kids, or do the kids have a way with us...

I mean, they are perpetually flowing joyful energy and maybe it's us grown ups who have no options but to respond to that energy.

Hmm... maybe that's way hanging out with kids is a sure shot stress buster.

I think, it's important to keep this in mind while interacting with kids. Anything that happy CANNOT be getting it wrong!!!

And then us grown ups decide to meddle and upset the perfect energy of the kids with our fear filled thoughts and exert our imbalanced beliefs on them.

I wonder who needs disciplining.
